our story

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church first gathered to worship God together in 1965. Served over the years by many gifted pastors, today we stand on the solid foundations of Grace Alone, Faith Alone, Word Alone and Christ Alone. As we move deeper into the 21st Century, the vision of the congregation is being handed to a new generation of believers who are excited about their journey of faith.
We are a member congregation of the North American Lutheran Church, and so are Christ Centered, Mission Driven, Traditionally Grounded and Congregationally focused.

Worship

Our God is worthy of our praise, and we strive to bless Him in all that we do.
Every Saturday at 5pm we gather for worship in a traditional Lutheran Liturgical format, with readings, hymns and sermon.

Every Sunday at 9am we gather for worship in a variety of styles.
The first Sunday of each month finds a traditional Lutheran Liturgical gathering with organ led hymns and full communion liturgy.
All other Sundays find a gathering that is somewhere on the 'Blended' spectrum, featuring contemporary worship music, organ led hymns, plus all of the features that make Lutheran worship so rich.

learn
Our God invites our inquiries, desires our wonderings, and answers our deepest questions. We take the Bible very seriously, centering our understanding of faith in the Holy Scriptures that God has given to us. Through weekly Sunday School for children, youth and adults, we strive for a solid foundation. We add Vacation Bible School, Confirmation Ministry, High School youth group, Men's Study, Women's studies, Alpha, and many more opportunities to connect and learn.

fellowship

We love to fellowship together, because we are made by God to fellowship together. No one should make the journey of faith alone, and at Prince of Peace you don't need to. And being Lutherans, we fellowship well!
Join us after worship every Sunday for donuts and conversation. Soup Suppers precede our mid-week Lenten worship gatherings. Other special meals and events occur throughout the year. And we do Easter in a big way.
